Everton boss Frank Lampard confirms Dominic Calvert-Lewin Injured three times at once. Hoping he will return to the field again on football Boxing Day.

The Toffees forward has only played 340 minutes this season. And played the full 90 minutes in just one game after injuring his knee during the pre-season.

A hamstring injury sustained against Leicester means he will miss Saturday’s trip to Bournemouth, their last game before the World Cup break. But a knee injury from the summer remains the biggest cause of his problems.

Lampard hopes the World Cup break will give him a chance to deal with those issues.

“The hamstring is a minor injury. It was an injury that lasted about 10 days.”

“His shoulder hurt a lot against Newcastle [last month] and he played a repeat against Fulham, he was bandaged. And the experts checked it yesterday. and does not require surgery.”

“He has been through some problems. But the knee is probably the most obvious injury we want to fix. which was similar to what he had been before and it keeps getting worse So now we have time to fix it properly.”
